Subscription and Product Key
- The plugin is currently free, but it still requires a product key to work. You can obtain a product key for free by emailing dareka@posteditacat.xyz or by filling out the request form on the website: https://posteditacat.xyz/transaide-plugin-for-trados-studio/#ProductKeyRequest
- The private key has been changed. Product keys generated before December 2025 will not work with the new version of the plugin. New keys have been sent to all users of those keys.
Segment Export
- Added the option to export confirmed segments.
- Added the option to export source and target segments in a single tab-delimited file. Together with the option to export confirmed segments, this allows you to create a translation memory from translated segments.
- Added the option to export segments with short tags (similar to the “Short Tags” view option in the Trados Studio editor).
Translation Origin Settings
- Added the ability to configure the Translation Origin. You can set your provider name, the type of editing (AMT, AT, Interactive, MT, NMT), and the match percentage (Match), and you can also completely disable the use of a custom Translation Origin. After import, segments will have the status “Draft” (Interactive).
Working with Files Exported to JSON Format
- Added the ability to attach files that contain only a subset of the segments in the project. This was implemented to allow the AI to generate a JSON file containing only segments with updated translations to reduce token usage and, most importantly, to ensure the context window does not overflow.
- Improved the option to display differences between the old and new target text.
Tags in Trados Studio Format
- After importing, the plugin does not generate native Trados tags, but an external converter is available to convert text tags to Trados Studio tags in sdlxliff files (e.g.,
<b>bold</b> -> <g id=1>bold</g>). The program is called SdlxliffTagConverter and is provided along with the product key.
