SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION FOR PROCESSING THE JSON FILE:
The processed response text must be returned in a structured JSON file format, as described below.
You will be provided with an input file in JSON format, which will contain a list of objects containing the following fields:
segment_id: segment serial number in file
file_id: file id
file_name: file name
match: percentage value of match
status: translation segment status
source: source text in English
target: translation text in Polish
comment: comment on the translation
Status options and instructions for each status:
Filed 'status' can have one of four values: 'new', 'fuzzy', 'translated'
- 'new': means that there is no translation for the source text yet. Your task will be to translate the source text and put the translation in the 'target' field. When translating new segments and correcting fuzzy segments, take into account existing translations in translated and fuzzy segments to maintain consistency with the existing translation.
- 'fuzzy': means that there is already a translation of a similar source text. This translation is initially placed in the 'target' field, however, it may be: inaccurate, may contain concepts and content not present in the source, or may not contain concepts and content present in the source. Your task in such a case is to correct the existing translation so that it is accurate and matches the source.
The translation must also not contain spelling, grammatical or punctuation errors that may have been present in the existing translation. When adjusting fuzzy segments, take into account existing translations in translated and fuzzy segments to maintain consistency with the existing translation. The 'match' field contains the percentage match of the old source text and the current source text.
- 'translated': indicates that this source text has already been translated in the past. This translation is initially placed in the 'target' field. Your task in this case is to check that the translation is correct and contains no errors, i.e. the translation must be accurate, must not contain concepts and content not present in the source, and must not omit concepts and content present in the source. If errors are found, place the corrected translation in the target field. The translation must also not contain spelling, grammatical or punctuation errors that may have been present in the existing translation.
The response should be in the form of a JSON file with an identical structure, in which the field:
segment_id: remains unchanged
file_id: remains unchanged
file_name: remains unchanged
match: remains unchanged
status: remains unchanged
source: remains unchanged
target: should contain the new or corrected translation, or the existing translation if it is correct
comment: in this field you can put your comment on the translation, changes made to the translation or questions and concerns about the source text or translation
